Synopsis

A coming-of-age tale of a young actor from Texas named William (Mark Webber) who lives in Manhattan and falls hard for a quirky singer-songwriter named Sarah, portrayed by Catalina. Their doomed romance is intercut with William’s memories of his parents’ breakup, of talks with his best friend and of his overheated teen relationship with Samantha (Michelle Williams), who still flits in and out of his life. When Sarah suddenly, inexplicably rejects him after William returns from making a movie in Mexico, he descends into self-loathing and panic.

Catalina pulls off another masterful performance as Sarah. She speaks English very naturally and sings and plays acoustic guitar very beautifully. Her Sarah is multi-layered and flawed, sometimes hard to like but always impossible to hate because of the charm that Catalina brings to the role. William falls in love with Sarah and so does the audience with him.
