Synopsis
María, a 17-year old Colombian girl, supports her family with her salary by picking the thorns off of roses before they are shipped overseas. When not working, she parties with her best friend Blanca (Yenny Paola Vega) , or hangs out with her boyfriend, whom she does not really care for. María soon discovers that she is pregnant and after getting in an argument with her boss, she quits her job. María soon meets a man in Bogotá who will pay her a lot of money for transporting drugs to New York City. Soon María, with a baby and 62 pellets of cocaine in her stomach, embarks on a journey that will change her life forever.
